Climb Montana’s Kila Crag
Enjoy a full-day or half-day climb at the most popular spot among Kalispell residents! The Kila Crag consists of nearly four dozen bolted sport climbs and is about 15 minutes from the town of Kalispell. Kila is a great place to climb during the cooler months since the south facing shale cliffs heat up in the sun and views from the top include green meadows and snow-capped peaks. You can often hear sandhill cranes crooning in the distance or see turkey vultures circling as they ride the currents of warm air rising from the cliffs.
We’ll teach beginners rock climbing and safety tips, such as how to tie the belay knots correctly and set the grigri correctly. We’ll also go over the different types of climbing so you can decide which is best for you. In fact, we can make your climbs unique to your skill level, experience, and desires! Full-day climbers will enjoy a sack lunch to keep them going throughout their climb.
If you can’t find a time and date that works in your schedule please give us a call directly to arrange your climbing trip! We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your needs!
