The head instructor, Link Neimark, has over 25 years climbing experience.  He has 10 years experience as a professional climbing teacher.  His safety record is perfect.  He is an AMGA (American Mountain Guide Association) Certified Single Pitch Instructor, qualifying him to teach both top rope climbing and lead climbing.  He also holds a Single Pitch Instructor certification from PCGI (Professional Climbing Guides Institute).  Don't take chances with your safety by going out with an uncertified guide.  Ask if your instructor is AMGA and PCGI certified.   On busy days, other certified instructors may teach your private lesson.

In the winter months, Link teaches skiing and  snowboarding.  He is the most requested instructor at Whitefish Mountain Resort.  He was rated by Ski Magazine as one of the Top 100 Ski Instructors in America.  In the summer, Link teaches climbing and coaches water skiing, wake boarding, and wake surfing on Whitefish Lake.

Link was educated at the University of Wisconsin where he received bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Zoology.  He then completed a master's degree in Oceanography at the University of Alaska.  Link worked as a Biologist for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game until he decided to persue a career in outdoor education.  He has since worked as a soccer coach, wilderness guide, personal trainer, swim instructor and climbing instructor.

Link has the knowledge, experience, and certification to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable climbing adventure.
